Kim Tunnadine and Pam Ingrey Technical Director

After 17 years of driving buses, Kim Tunnadine decided enough was enough, he needed a change of direction and fancied opening a shop. But, what to sell!

Oswestry already had a wide range of shops, and the last thing he wanted was to tread on anyone's toes. After discussing it with his girlfriend, Pam Ingrey, Pam suggested that he open a mobility shop.

Pam has a wealth of knowledge of the mobility industry, having had previous experience of running her own business. She set up and run Border Mobility for six years, which she operated out of Welshpool with her late husband, Andy.

On the 1st of September 2015, Oswestry Mobility opened its doors, offering a wide range of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, rolators and everyday living aids.

Kim Says:

'Driving buses to a timetable didn't give me time to say 'hello' to people, let alone being able to listen to their needs.

I am a people person at heart and if I can help someone, I will, and at last now I can do that'.

Open on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday with Pam helping out part time, Kim is on hand to help and advise and offer a warm welcome to all who cross the threshold.

Pop in for a friendly chat or advice anytime - we would love to see you!
